Disaster Relief - Recently, we have seen an unusual onslaught of natural disasters.  Although disaster relief is not an IFA goal, being an humanitarian organization, it is only natural that we be involved in such relief. Typically, such support is provided by allocating some emergency funds that are added to whatever additional donations are sent to IFA for a specific disaster.  Click here to see how your funds were disbursed.

IFA Fellowships - are grants to committed young men and women who have some educational background and/or experience on issues of interest to IFA.  These are given on the recommendation of respected and well known individuals.  The grant is a one year commitment and covers reasonable living expenses including housing and work related travel.  It may be renewed for another two 2 years if all specifice requirements are met.  Click here  to review current recipients of IFA Fellowships.

Communications & Creating Awareness

        Farmers Suicides - The mounting numbers of farmer suicides in the
          states of Andhra, Maharashtra, Kerala and some even in Punjab are
          simply startling.  IFA has supported a documentary film to investigate
          the background of this tragedy as a prelude to a more proactive plan
          to address this highly disturbing issue.
